Minimum Attendance for Class Credit

No credit given for a class unless the student is in attendance for at least 90% of the days the class is offered

Students in attendance for at least 75% but less than 90% may be given credit for the class if the student completes a plan approved by the school’s principal that provides for the student to meet the instructional requirements of the class (NG Policy)

Limitation on Removal from Class for Tutoring

Students may not be removed from a regularly

scheduled class for remedial tutoring or test preparation for more than 10% of the school days on which the class is offered without parent consent in writing

Announcements are limited to once a day unless there is an emergency

Students currently in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade may graduate on the graduation plans that are currently in place (Minimum, Recommended, or Distinguished) or they can choose the new HB5

graduation program.

transcript, but they do not count

towards Hall Center for Education’s

graduation plan.

NG tutorials will be held Monday - Thursday. Students can make up 2 NGs after school. A student acquires 4 NGs (one per class) each day they are absent over the allotted days.

If NGs are not cleared, the student does not receive credit.
