“SRI Placement Guarantee Plan” for Engineering/Pharmacy Students

SRI is offering a placement guarantee plan for all the students seeking admission for session 2013-14 at SRI in Engineering/Pharmacy.

The cardinal features of this scheme are:-

1. Every student will be offered an opportunity to appear in campus placement drive of minimum 20 companies where they can secure placement with package to any extent based on their performance.

2. Besides this the students will get guaranteed placement within 3 months in different group companies & associate companies of SRI where, she/he will be offered a placement by the Institution on the following criteria:-

i) Student securing aggregate above 85% marks will get a minimum placement of Rs. 1, 50,000/- PA approx.ii) Student securing aggregate above 75% marks will get a minimum placement of Rs.1, 20,000/- PA approx.iii) Student securing aggregate above 65% marks will get a confirm placement.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Information Technology (IT) is “the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and

CIVIL ENGINEERING Civil Engineering is the application of physical and scientific principles, and its history is intricately linked to advances in

understanding of physics and mathematics throughout history. Because civil engineering is a wide ranging profession,

including several separate specialized sub-disciplines, its history is linked to knowledge of structures, materials science,

geography, geology, soils, hydrology, environment, mechanics and other fields.Throughout ancient and medieval

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Engineering,

disciplines deals with design and

production of tools, machines and all

other mechanical equipment to be used

in industries. The industry offers a wide choice

of options extending across many interdisciplinary

interdependent specialties. Mechanical engineering is

concerned with all types of machinery in industries and all aspects

of their mechanism and functioning; the design, development, construction,

production, installation, operation and maintenance; such as large steam and gas turbines,

components of thermal power stations, internal combustion engines, jet engines, machine tools, air conditioning and

heating machines, refrigerators etc to name a few. They not only design and create new products, but also develop

materials for them and ways of making them.Ample job opportunity being enjoyed by Mechanical Engineer in Private

and Public sector. Govt. organization like Railways, Defence sector, Power stations (Thermal, Nuclear, Hydel etc), PWD

ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING Electronics Engineering is a constantly changing and widening branch of the engineering profession. Electronics

and businesses for communication equipment, computers and military electronics along with consumer demand

and increased research and development on robots and other types of automation contributes to the growth of
