Our school, IES PRAIA BARRA ÑA, is located opposite Barraña beach, next to a marsh at the mouth of Boiro’s largest river, theCoroño.

The marsh is inhabited byherons, mallards, kingfishers, egrets, sandpipers, cormorants, magpies and whitewagtails.

The beach is the kingdom of yellow-legged gulls and black-headed gulls. We also receive the visit of orioles

and hoopoes, terns and oystercatchers.
