What is your song? Why did you pick it?

Emeli Sande – Heaven We picked this song because of its build up of tension through the upbeat tempo. The beat throughout the song creates an atmosphere for audiences giving the motivational effect we want.

Who is your artist? What Identity are you creating for them?

Our artist is Eden Chakarni - Through the music video we are creating Eden to be a passionate, motivational person. The inspirational video compliments the music, making her look like a genuine person audiences will like.

Why will your song and artist appeal to the target audience?Our target audience is Male and Females, aged 14-25. The song ‘Heaven’ will appeal to the target audience as it is an upbeat song and will fulfill the purpose we intend to motivate them as it is a ‘feel good’ song. The upbeat tempo is continuous throughout the song keeping audiences entertained and inspired throughout. The artist (Eden) will appeal to the audience as she is a young, materialistic individual, who portrays many teenage qualities that the audience can relate to.

How is it similar/different to other artists/music they like?

Our target audience will like artists such as Rudimental, Naughty Boy, Beyoncé and other artists that have an upbeat, fast pace tempo.However, this may be different due to the styles we have used that would tend not to be as mainstream and others.

We are making a motivational music video based on training and success.

We decided not to bring in a element of distress as we feel it is cliché and would bring down the more professional era of the video when our actor is at peak training

Which Real Music videos were you influenced by?

Powerless – Rudimental

• We were influenced by Rudimental’s music video for ‘Powerless’. This was because the music video has a sport element with many shots establishing the training.
