IntroductionSolar power is electricity generated from the levels of natural energy contained within the suns rays (solar radiation). The suns rays contain photons. These photons are capable of transforming electrons into conduction electrons, which means they are able to carry an electrical charge.

FunctionsThe electricity produced by solar panels is used: To power certain home appliances e.g fans, lights

ovens, TVs etc. To heat water and keep homes warm during cold

weather. To extract water from sub-soil for irrigation

purposes.

Certain areas in Pakistan have

proved as great spots for solar

panels in present time as well as for

the future. They are directly exposed to

sun and receive high amount of rays. These areas are Northern and

Central Balochistan, Southern Sindh and Northern Sindh.(All
