Twitter Bird Gets a Makeover !Twitter’s trademark “little blue bird” just got a makeover.

All Twitter official buttons will be automatically updated.

If anybody using any previous Twitter bird logo on their website or any other areas update that icon with the new revamped logo.

Facebook update: FBML apps won’t work!

FBML apps are set to stop working as part of the removal of Facebook Markup Language (FBML). Facebook also announced that it will remove the live stream plugin from the platform in favour of the comments box.

Some old page tab applications and very early canvas games that have not been migrated to the new format will have “FBML Removal” migration enabled.It will be possible for developers to disable the migration and re-enable FBML until July 5, when FBML will be removed completely.

The social network began recommending iFrames over FBML.

Beginning in March 2011, page admins were no longer be able to install new FMBL apps.

Facebook Twitter Integration!

“The updated Twitter for Facebook integration now includes usernames, URL, hashtags, photos @mention and more are cross-posted to Facebook.

To implement this functionality you'll have to edit the settings in your twitter profile section and connect with Facebook and agree to its routine permission prompt.

After that you'll see all of your tweets appear as statuses in Facebook.

New Twitter tailored trends!

Twitter Just Made Trends More RelevantTwitter is rolling out “tailored trends” feature which help users see more relevant topics in their Discover tab and top trends list.

Tailor trends based on your location and the people you follow.

The location is default according to your twitter setting, so if you want to find out what trending in US or UK then just change your location.

Twitter’s Expanded Tweets feature!

Twitter new “expended tweets” feature allowing users to see more interactive content for instance news stories, video galleries and audio clips

Interactive experiences such as content previews, view images and play videos inside tweets from certain publishers.

Partner websites listed in the announcement were “The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Der Spiegel Online, WWE, Buzzfeed, TMZ, BET’s 106 & Park, Lifetime, Dailymotion.

Facebook launches portal page to help users follow Olympic Games and athletes!

Facebook has launched the Explore London 2012 page in collaboration with the London 2012 Olympics to help users find and Like pages related to the games.the dashboard includes:- - Links to the main Olympics pages- Athletes- National teams and sports. .

Now people can explore their favourite athletics, favourite team and sports and stay updates on latest Olympic news.

Facebook acquires facial recognition company Face.com

Face.com face recognition aps identify and tag people in real time.According to TechCrunch reports that the acquisition price was around $100 million.

Facebook gives Like button functionality to third-party mobile and web app buttons

Facebook recently announced that Mobile and web app developers can now build custom buttons that function similarly to Facebook’s traditional Like button. For example, Instagram and Foursquare use hearts in their mobile apps. Now instead of those actions being seen within the app only, they can be published to Facebook without any additional steps. Further, when a user Likes their friend’s photo or story using the new Like action, the friend will receive a Facebook notification about it.

Facebook Allows Editing Comments!

Now, Facebook allows you to directly edit your comment with an option right there simply click small pencil sign right side of your comment section. It gives you an option to delete or edit your comment directly.

Facebook privacy issue: Facebook hide users’ email addresses, favouring its own Email.

Recently Facebook has set up its email address [email protected] necessary for every profile without any intimation. And hide users third parties email address. May be the reason behind it to promote its own messaging feature.

How to fix itHere's how to easily fix the problem. Click "About" on your profile and scroll down to your email address. Click "Edit" to change them.Click on the circle next to your Facebook email address and change its setting to "Hidden From Timeline".Click on the circle next to your other email addresses and change their settings to "Shown On Timeline".Click the Save button at the bottom of the Edit popup

Facebook Username changing facility!

Admins can easily change their page username once again without having to submit a username change request to Facebook.

Now You don’t need to fill up username changing contact form.

Simply follow the steps to do the changes: Edit Page –> Update Info –> Basic Information –> Change Username.

Google New Event Feature !Google+ has a new feature: support for creating and managing events. 

The most interesting feature is a "party mode“ this feature automatically brings together all the photos taken by the guests.

"Once you've enabled Party Mode on your mobile device, all of your new photos get added to the event in real-time. And as more guests turn on Party Mode, more pictures will instantly appear to fellow invitees.

Google+ Events also integrates with Google Calendar

Facebook ‘Voice’ Feature!

Recently Facebook added Voice link, feature for admins that make it clear positing as a user or the behalf of brand pages.

It provides the ability to switch from individual to brand page and brand page to individual users, just only simple click.

The new feature appears as a blue horizontal bar across the top of the page.

It could be helpful for page owners avoid mistakes to post different behalf.

Twitter Update Won’t Post on LinkedIn !

Linkedin announced that Twitter would no longer be partnering with us to cync updates from one site to the other.

LinkedIn and Twitter have worked together since 2009 to enable the sharing of professional conversations on both platforms. 

What changes can I expect to see on LinkedIn?If you had previously synced your LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, and selected the option to share Tweets on LinkedIn, those Tweets generated from Twitter will no longer appear on LinkedIn.  There will be no other changes to your LinkedIn experience.
