It consists of 50 households within a 1000 household slum. The main elements in theslum are houses, a school, a community area, a water basin, media center, workshops for wood, steel and fabric. ExpectationBased on our 3D mock-up, we expect to see the infrastructure on the Setting X environment. It helps us to expand our possibilities and assists tobuild more in-depth scenarios. By building 3D mock-up, we can approximately measure the dimensions of buildings and infrastructure on our slumenvironment. This resource will be useful to make a more detailed plan to deploy our pedalling system into slum. 11 12. 2.2 Scenario matrixStep 1(Sub-Subjects - Elements) :Everymemberhaschosenoneortwofieldstoresearchandinvesti-gatetheopportunitiesfortheproduct.Thechosenelementsareasbelow:SchoolFamily Life (Home)InfrastructureCommunity Center - Shopping MarketWorkshopsStep 2( Writing Sub-Scenarios) :Everymemberwrote3sub-scenariosbasedontheirchosenfields.Flexiblyeachscenarioiscombinedwithoneormoredifferentfieldsto expand the potentials and create social cohesion through ourproduct in slum.Step 3( Creating Scenario Matrix):Basedonthesub-scenarioswrittenbyeachmember,Matrixisusedas a method to integrate the scenarios. A new game was going to be built in the playground, something they hadnever seen before, a light race! The teacher also explained that it would help very much tothe school, because this game provide them power for a new lamps called LED lamps. Thisway the school could open more hours during the day, and maybe start some night coursesfor adults or art classes. Themost clear one will be the LED light that will bring them a new concept of lighting, safety, and consciousness in environment. Making it cheaperand healthier for them, the project is going to be long lasting. On the other hand, Lights up for using one main power source belonging the wholecommunity, will create unity among the dwellers. All individuals will be responsible for the community, helping the elderly ones, and competingin a game that bring them enlightenment. This way, the social and the individual well being in slums will be improved. 35 34 35. We also like the idea that the product creates a huge social cohesion between the dwellers while they are building the chairs. But it is a fact that it is re- ally hard to build those kinds of chairs and it is not very suit- able for the western countries. Pieces of wooden blocks that slum people can build their own chairs 75 76. Cushion Actually we really like the idea the bench made by cushions and if needed some extra elements. It is easy to produce this bench and it definately can create huge social cohesion in slums.
