TIP 2: Plan in good time.Timetable; How much time have you got?A week in hand; complete your revision a

week before your exams to get flexibility in case of illness and a break before your exam starts.

Select; What topics do you need to revise?Targets; Be realistic about the targets

you set yourself.

TIP 3: Active Revision.Make your revision active. Have plenty of paper and a pen. Study your notes and memorise the essential points. Write down these points you learned. Check with your notes. Learn those points which you got wrong.

TIP 4: Old exam papers.Look through old exam papers.

TIP 5: Pace yourself.Use your time well. Take a break from time to time in each study period.

TIP 6: You’re not alone.If you feel that you have not entirely grasped a topic, discussing it with other students can be helpful.

TIP 7: Reward yourself.Mark your progress on your revision plan so that you can see what you are achieving.

TIP 9: Look after yourself.Diet; Try and eat a healthy diet.Caffeine; Too much tea, coffee and caffeine tablets can your anxiety levels and induce insomnia.Exercise; Get some exercise. It will give you more stamina, help reduce stress and help you to sleep.Rest;Don’t try to work through the night before the exam. Go to bed in good time and get as much sleep as you can.

TIP 1: Eat.Have a reasonable amount to eat before the exam.

TIP 2: Trust.If you’ve prepared thoroughly, trust your own knowledge and don’t get into conversations about the exam just before the start and start confusing you.

TIP 3: Organise.Get to the exam room in good time. Make sure that you have all the equipment you need.

TIP 4: Comfort.Remember that you will be sitting still for some hours. Make sure that you will be warm enough.

TIP 5: Nerves.If you do get nervous or anxious, take some time out getting a glass or water.

TIP 6: Instructions.Read and understand the instructions. Read all the questions and decide which ones you can answer. Set the time period for each question.

TIP 7: Questions.Attempt the number of questions you are asked to answer.

TIP 8: Preparing.if you are giving essay style answers, spend the first 5-10 minutes of your available time noting down the ideas you wish to include. Put hem in a logical order and write your answer.It is a good idea to practise writing this kind of time answer as part of your revision routine.
