Each sticker pair has the image of an adorable animal split in half — the head and front of the

animal is on the left sticker and the tail and rear on the right.

Both have accompanying textual orientation labels.

Simply adhere the stickers to the inside heel of the left and right shoes. The animals become whole only when the shoes are put on the correct feet and the halves are matched up. It’s instinctual.

Users learn to put their shoes on right through self-correction and reinforcement.

No reading required. It’s easy. And it’s fun!

Shoezooz were conceived and developed by Ellen Lichtman, a professional graphic and website designer and a mom.

When Lichtman’s daughter was a toddler, she repeatedly put her shoes on the wrong feet and repeatedly got very frustrated. Yet this strong-willed youngster was still determined to put them on by herself.

This common childhood standoff is what inspired Lichtman — who always wanted to create a functional product that solves a simple problem and helps people live easier lives — to conceive of Shoezooz.

Shoezooz help kids feel independent, self-confident and self-sufficient. They enable kids to complete a

task of daily living and solve a problem all by themselves.

Shoezooz are also great tools for occupational therapists and early intervention specialists, and are
