Mise-en-scene

Locations: • A normal house on a

normal street.• The local corner shop

• The local pub• His workplace is again

very local at a washing machine

seller.

Props: • Vinyl records to be

used to defeat the zombies.

• A bat to hit the zombies with.

• A mobile phone-used as a distraction

job.• Everyone, even zombies are wearing

normal clothes.• The zombies clothes

have blood and rips on them.

• Makeup- scars, blood, missing limbs, sickly

faces.• Hair-very messy for

the zombies

Mise-en-scene

Facial expressions: • They look completely dead.• no facial expressions.

• Stare blankly at everything.

Body Language: • Limp walking style.

• Their limbs are constantly dragging behind or beside them.

• The moan/grunt. Their only form of communication.

Lighting: • During the day most of the light is

natural.• At night or on the zombies, it will

be darker to show that the zombies are dangerous. However, it's not too dark as this is still a comedy

horror.

Colour: • The colours red and brown are

used a lot to show danger, death and rotting.

• Blue highlights in lighting is used to show the cold bloodedness of the

zombies.

CAM SAMShots:

• Establishing shots to show locations.• Long shots used to show the body

language of the zombies.• Wide/long shots used in the actions

scenes.• Mid shots focus more on the costumes of

the zombies• Close ups on facial expressions and makeup

to show the audience in more detail.

Angles: • the use of some high angles to show that

the humans are more vulnerable when the zombies are attacking.

• However, some low angles are used when there is only one zombie against more

humans.

Movement: • Tends to be slow during the beginning and

the monotonous parts of his life.• Also slow when the zombies are walking to

mirror how slow they actually are.• Movement speeds up when the

actions/attacking scenes come up.
