Activities throughout the day were tweeted for our followers

Projects
• Students explore their personal passions and develop a way to present them to others.
• Students used a Google Site to access teacher resources, web-based tools and communicated their plan
• They presented passions using laptops
Passion Project
• Clever Couplets and The Holy Rosary
• Student work was scanned and uploaded to bookemon.com to create digital books
• Books were printed and hardbound for classroom reading.
2nd Grade Publishing
• Classes used apps that allowed students to share artwork and audio
• Added visual and audio elements enhanced the prayer experience for children.
Morning Prayer Presentations
• Mrs. Jacobson’s class was assigned to create a presentation for House of the Scorpion
• They used web tools such as Prezi, GoAnimate and Xtranormal
• Created from the author’s point of view, their task was to convince a company to publish their book
Literature Multimedia
• Ms. De Llano had 5th grade students create trailers of their favorite books using the multimedia tool of their choice
• Ali Sait volunteered to create a page in Symbaloo to share their creations.

• 4th and 5th grade students research landmarks in Texas and the U. S. using iPads
• They then used Google Maps in the Technology Lab to plot the location of their landmarks and add map pins, photos and information.
Mapping Landmarks
• Students used the internet to research Spiders. They organized their information using circle, tree and flow maps.
• Using the Kidspiration program students changed flow maps into outlines, edited work and created final copies in MS Word.
• Final work was published using bookemon.com
3rd Grade Research & Writing
+Telepresence takes learning beyond the physical boundaries of our school.
