• Have them pass the paper out to a student of their choice.

• It was easier for the British to pay people to fight for them than to train new soldiers

– These were Mercenaries

• They hired up to 30,000 German soldiers called Hessians to go fight the Americans

• How might this be another advantage for the Colonists?
