Home  &  School  Club  Purpose  To  provide  a  forum  for  parents  to  give  input  to  the  school    

To  give  parents  a  venue  to  communicate  and  share  with  each  other  and  with  teachers  and  administrators    

To  provide  a  forum  for  the  school  to  communicate  to  parents  about  school  iniKaKves    

To  organize  events  like  barbecues  and  dances  for  the  school    

To  compile  and  publish  the  student  directory    

To  ensure  Los  Gatos  High  School  conKnues  to  provide  strong  programming  and  instrucKon

Not  just  raise  money    

For  those  are  on  financial  assistance,  directories  and  membership  should  be  free.  I  am  excluded  

every  year  due  to  lack  of  funds.  Sad.    

Always  seems  to  be  looking  for  money.  Confusing  with  all  the  other  enKKes  looking  for  money.    

I  want  my  financial  contribuKons  to  go  directly  to  the  Los  Gatos  school  that  my  children  aZend,  not  

to  a  general  fund  for  all  LG  schools.    

We  hear  you!  We  need  to  be  more  clear  about  this,  and  also  communicate  the  many  other  things  we  do  besides  raise  money.    

Please  contact  us!  We  can  also  offer  financial  

assistance.    

HSC  funds  go  ONLY  to  Los  Gatos  High  School  and  

directly  benefit  students.

The  directory  comes  out  way  too  late  in  the  school  year.    

Feels  like  an  organizaKon  stuck  in  the  past    

The  student  directory  wasn't  published  unKl  spring  last  school  year.  

Doesn't  seem  inclusive,  especially  to  working  parents.  Seems  more  like  a  cliquey  women's  social  

group.    

We  will  do  our  best  to  get  the  directory  out  sooner  

this  year.    

We  are  looking  to  improve,  get  more  people  involved,  be  more  progressive  and  

inclusive.
