There are two kinds of affixes and these are prefixes and suffixes.o Prefixes- these are the words that is added to beginning of a word.o Suffixes- these are the words that is added to the end of a word.

Grammatical/ inflectional Suffixes Derivational Suffixes Does not change the class of a word. They simply add grammatical information.
