Select 2 genres in which you are interested in making and choose two film packages,

one independent and one major.

Western Religion (Western) – Includes trailer

Teaser & Main PosterThe fact that the film says that “your soul is at stake in religion, Arizona”, implies that the director is literally “threatening” the audience, thus already making them a part of the film, without evening see it. Alternatively, they might be “threatening” them to go and see the film!

In terms of iconography (of props), the guns pointing in either direction, suggests that when one watches the film, they encounter danger no matter what.

In addition, the background colours come off as a tad ominous, which links to the point that I followed with the point now.

Witty pun used in order to keep in tone with the genre

The fact that the characters’ hair colours (unlike in the main poster) matches the other items in the poster, is something else that’s considered as comedic. In addition it is representative of the frivolity of the teaser poster of an “average” comedy compared to the main poster.
