The Sanhedrin

The Sanhedrin were a group of religious men who set religious laws and rules

for the Jewish people in Palestine.

They worked from the Temple in Jerusalem.

The members of the Sanhedrin were divided into two groups

1. The Sadducees

2. The Pharisees

They helped keep peace in Palestine.
