1. What is I-LINC
•I-LINC aims to bring together a rich and active community of stakeholders aspiringto become the largest European community in the field of ICT (for) learning and inclusion devoted to enhance youth employability.
•I-LINC will be the meeting point for stakeholders to discuss and designsolutions and policy options to modernise education through ICT and create a new "digital" path for employment for young people.
2. Why I-LINC
• Massive unemployment of young people in the ICT industry particularly, but also in other industries wherever employers need people with ICT skills, the skills gap is quickly widening
• Young people not fully aware of the skills they need for the digital jobs
• Formal education curriculum not developed to support the full set of ICT skills for jobs
3. How I-LINC works
Online portal: www.i-linc.eu that features a significant amount of relevant information for stakeholders: events, stakeholder database, best practices, articles, policy hub, wiki spaces, opinions, etc.
Offline activities: workshops, conferences, focus groups
4. I-LINC stakeholders
• Formal and non-formal education providers: schools, training centres and adult
education centres, telecentres
• Digital and socio-economic inclusion provider: telecentres, NGO-run telecentres,
public libraries, municipal centres
• Organisations focused on youth employability
• Young people

• Information and knowledge about other stakeholders and initiatives in the field of ICT for learning and ICT for inclusion
• Resources and research on ICT for learning and ICT for inclusion
• Opportunities to connect and meet, both online and offline with other stakeholders
• Possibility to finding partners for common initiatives, to start a task force on a certain issue or join forces
