Why do we feel pain?

How pain is produced?

Brain produce pain to tell us body is taking damage

Pain compel us to take

care of damage,

without pain we would

ignore cut, wounds

Nociceptor nerves

responsible for pain

Heat

Chemical

Mechanical

Nocicpetor is activated by stimuli or event which posses a threat for us like

too much heat or pressure

When an stimuli crosses nociceptive threshold, the nerve fires signal to brain

informing the danger, brain creates pain

Damaged cells releases acachidonic

acid which reacts with COX1 and COX2

enzymes

Prostagladin is produced which causes inflammation

Blocks COX1

Blocks arachidonic

acid

General pain killer eaither blocks COX or arachidonic acid to stop pain
