The respiratory system helps us to breathe in oxygen and take out carbondioxide. 13. Lets take a journey to therespiratory system 14. NOSE 15. MOUTH 16. What does the nose and mouthdo? They breathe in air and take out air. 17. Epiglottis 18. Epiglottis stops food from going in to the trachea. 19. TRACHEA 20. It is a tube that connects the larynx to the lungs, allowing the passage ofair. 21. LUNGS 22. The lungs and respiratory system allow oxygen in the air to be taken intothe body, while also enabling the body to get rid of carbon dioxide in theair breathed out. 23. Diaphragm Biggest muscle of Body When you breathe in, the diaphragm moves downward ,causing lungs toexpand In exhalation, the diaphragm moves upward and causing lungs to contract. 24. Bronchioles The small airways of the lung extending from the bronchi to the alveoli. 25. Alveoli Every few seconds, with each inhalation, air fills a large portion of themillions of alveoli. Oxygen moves from the alveoli to the blood through the capillaries. Carbon dioxide, moves from cells into the capillaries 26. Excretory System 27. PARTS Kidneys Ureters Urinary Bladder Urethra 28. KIDNEYS They filter the body waste in form of urine. I can name two who filters the body waste. They are the Bowmans Capsule and Renal Artery. 29. URETER It brings urine to the urinary bladder. 30. URINARY BLADDER Holds urine. 31. Urethra Takes out the urine in the body. 32. DIGESTIVE SYSTEM Esophagus brings food to stomach Stomach digests food Small intestine digests food Large intestine where undigested food stays Rectum Pushes feces {POOP} to the anus Anus takes out feces to the body Liver produces bile Pancreas - X 33.
