School projects :Setting the scene:
1- Sharing ideas with students: (what to do).2- Showing the importance of these projects.3- Motivation:badges,certificates,prizes,marks… 4- Collaboration: students & groups5- Competition: individuals & classes6- Guidance7- Fun
School clubs :Setting the scene:
1- Each class has 6 clubs: Movie Club , Song Club , Reading Club , Internet Club , Handicraft Club , Drawing Club.2- Each club has members and a leader.3- Each leader has a badge.4- Teacher coordinates with leaders instead of all students.

1-Spelling contest wordsThere are two levels
I-Level 1: Competition between students in each class to choose only one student to represent the class.II-Level 2: Competition between students who represent their classes.The first three students are the winners.
1-Spelling contest wordsProcedure:
1- Five minutes of the lesson is planned for the contest.2- It takes about one to two months.3- It makes students work more and more.4- Words bag is used.
1-Spelling contest wordsThere are rounds for disqualification:
Round 1: Each student has to spell only one word.If s/he spells the word correctly, s/he qualifies for 3rd round.Otherwise, s/he will be given the last chance in the 2nd round.Round 2: It is for students who failed in the 1st round.If s/he spells the word correctly, s/he qualifies for 3rd round.Otherwise, s/he will be disqualified.Round 3:Each qualified student is given only one word to spell correctly to qualify for the following round.Otherwise, s/he will be eliminated.Teacher continues like that till only one student is left to represent the class.Teacher moves to Level 2 of the contest. Teacher uses the same way till three students remain to be announced as the winners.

2-Electronic- magazine - A topic ( pollution) to work on is selected with the agreement of all students. - A group of students choose a task to do. - Teacher checks the work of the group periodically.- Teacher and students use internet as the main source of data: videos, pictures, information.In addition to students’ drawing.

3-English movies-This is for students to watch English movies.- English movies are :- appropriate.- interesting.- well- chosen.- English movies are embedded with English subtitle:- This helps students to :- read the English subtitle.- listen at ease.- recognize words.- understand the culture of the target language.- think

4-Students’ Picture Dictionary
-Students use a copy-book to create their own personal dictionary.- Students make it to set up their own vocabulary items .- Students may use :- drawings- pictures- lexical items:(translation: English words to Arabic/ French & vice versa)

5- Class magazine
Each class tries to come up with a written magazine.- Different topics can be dealt with: celebrity,food,monuments…..- All students collabotate in this project.- It is a competition between classes to make the best magazine.- team work is intended.

- A student uses a well-chosen background for his/her photo:- to write a paragraph about the place.- to make interview / discussion with other students.

- The aim is to encourage students to write freely in English.- Students may write to the teacher or other classmates.- They put what they wrote in an envolope with their name & receiver’s name.- Teacher encourages students to write & makes sure it is in English.

- Teacher and students bring stuff in English.- They share the materials.- Students keep a record about what they read.- Teacher encourages students to come and to read in the classroom.
