INVENTIONS THAT CHANGED OUR WORLD
Throughout history, people have imagined and then created new things to make their lives better, easier, and more enjoyable. From the wheel to penicillin to the computer, inventions continue to change the way we live.You are going to learn about inventions in this page using the links on your left and answerin the following questions:
1. What is an invention?
An invention is a unique or novel device, method, composition or process.
2. What is the difference between inventions and discoveries?
-Invention makes or develops something that did not exist.-Discovery finds real (non-abstract) things that are already exsistant.
3. Name at least 5 inventions you can see in your school. In what sense are they useful?
