Dear graduates Congratulation!

Graduates families

Welcome Distinguished Invited host and Guests,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Graduation Participants in general,

consultancy service, I would like to welcome you all to the graduates/

commencement ceremony.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the

successful completion of your education. This is indeed good news from

all of us it lays the foundation for a better future for you, your families,

your (future) organization and your country as a whole. While we all

know that, you, the graduates, were the main, actors in this intensive

short term, level, one, two, tree, four-year or five education. You would

not have reached this occasion without the support, devotion and

dedication of the Government of Ethiopia thank you for your Earnest

support.

Consequently, I would like to say that your efforts have paid off (yield

good results)! Several years of hard work with many difficulties

(vicissitudes) of life have ended; it is the junction for the beginning of a

new set of professional duties and responsibilities. After successful

completion of your degree, now you are ready to shoulder

responsibilities and serve your country. The academic commission of

___________ University (polytechnic), college, institute by virtue of the

powers vested on it by the Higher Education Main Department of the

Ministry of Education or TVET agency hereby grants to your level,

diploma, Degree. With all Honours, privileges, and obligations

pertaining thereto and in witness thereof has authorized the Issuance of

this level___, diploma, and degree. This would obviously be the first

phase to practice what you have acquired from your education. You

have endured all the challenging, assignments, and both theoretical and

practical work with related to your (future) job. This is because of your

relentless effort and commitment to achieve it. I wish you all success in

your life and best in your future endeavor my advice is that never quit

your professional journey because education never ends! Graduation

day is a pleasant and joyful day because it is a day on which one has

completed his/her education successfully. However, it is not an end of

professional journey but an end of a specific program. Education is an

instrument to combat against social and natural problems. Your

education at ________TVET institute, college, University (polytechnic)

must have created the preliminary awareness some problems. The key to

open door problems and have a better insight is to further study to have a

qualitative understanding of our environment in order to exploit it better.

The difference between developed and developing nations is the level of

their concern on producing human capital development through

education. However, there is a high interest in most of the developing

nations, including Ethiopia, to give in to the call for immediate action

and concern in this regard. Thus, the developing countries to be effective

and achieve millennium development goals / MDGs / the only option

should focus on education.

Due to this fact, the government of Ethiopia has established a new

educational reform to meet the challenges of education for enhancing

sustainable development by producing skilled work force that can go in

line with the world of work or that can fill the gap of emerging current

market demand of the country.

Among these educational reforms, the TVET reform is one of the efforts

done to sustain development by means of amending the TVET policy

and strategy to be “Outcome Based” and “Demand driven”.

In order to achieve these, the government of Ethiopia in its GTP II gives

due emphasis for the expansion of TVET institutes in the country to take

a paramount role for the implementation of the reform and supporting

TVET system for the coming five years.

The sector achieved long lasting attainment and confirmed sustainable

development that the key to the system. I would like to add one proverb

with related to education “If you give a man a fish you feed him for a

day”, but if you teach him how to fish you feed him forever”.

This institution also opened to fulfill the above interesting idea work for

our country particularly for youth and adults supporting government

intention as a nation contribution.

Hence, we are starting new project broaden or expand our business to

formal TVET institute by the coming New Year 2009 EC will open. We

make feasibility and tracer study as well situational analysis for the

success of the project. The new project name is

_____________________________ the name engineering included

because of the institute have several department of advanced

management information system (MIS). It located in _____ sub-city at

Addis Ababa city Administration in the particular area of district

(Woreda)_____.

My former ________ business enterprise is providing _________ for levels,

diplomas, BA/BSE at this time expanding our consultancy service to MA/MSC

and PhD student the coming next year.
