So, why do we not supply ourselves with new skills and technology that can help our business understand our competition, provide better customer service and communicate with our target market more efficiently? Social command centers have become a new strategy for businesses, like our competitors Dell and HP, to engage with consumers and influence product development. The top three reasons why Acer Inc. should invest in a command center are… 1.) To Understand Our Competitors- Dell and HP are our main competition and both companies already have a social command center. Dell has not only built its own command center, but it is now helping other businesses build command centers as well. Dell is now being viewed as experts of this particular field. If we implement this new strategy, we will have the ability to understand their target market, tap into what consumers are saying about their products and services and apply the feedback to our own company. 2.) Provide Better Customer Service- We will be able to keep up- to-date with what consumers are saying about our products and services. Also, we will be able to better predict what consumers are looking for within new technology. 3.) Create Viable Content for Our Target Market- We can keep our target market interested in new products, software, tech. support and company recognition. Our main goal for developing a social command center would be to become the top laptop brand and manufacturer. To beat out competitors, the entire Acer Inc. team must be involved. Let’s explore beyond limits and enter the new phase of social command centers.
