We are chemical engineering students at An-Najah National University.

Our group consist of four students in four positions:

Our project is talking about the safety requirements of nylon production .

We have visited nylon factory “Brothers factory” then we analyzed the situation of the factory within the safety standards.

There is no ventilation system at the factory , they depend on the usual ventilation slots like doors and windows .

The only toxic vapor in the factory is produced by evaporation of the polyethylene solution with little concentration.

Electrical system in the factory was designed manually by the workers of the factory.

there is a lot of bare wires.

Machines buttons very good for the user .

Most of machines are old .

All machines are connected to electrical switch, for emergency situations.

There are labels on each machine and buttons.

The most dangerous machine is the cutting machine .

The falling of heavy weight nylon rolls .

The products and row materials are saved together.

High temperature of the solution before formation of cold nylon.

Noise from machines.

Three workers have been cut there fingers while trying to fix a machine during work

Use hood over the extruder to remove the vapor.

Renew the electrical system “ wires, switches, old machines”

Use protection shoes to protect feet from falling of nylon rolls.

Use gloves to protect from high temperature.

Use two button for the cutting machine to make the worker use his two hands just for turning on the machine.

Separate the products away from the raw materials , to reduce propagation in case of fire accident .

Use ears plugs to reduce noise from machines.
