Hi, this is AJ, and youmade it, rule numberseven, our final rule.

Here it is. Rule seven is this –Use, listen-and-answer stories.Use, listen-and-answer storiesto speak very quickly, to under-stand immediately and, really,to speak English automatically.

When I say speak English au-tomatically, what I mean is this.I mean that you are thinking inEnglish. There’s no translatinghappening. You’re not thinkingabout rules. You’re not trying toremember a bunch of vocabu-lary. You’re not translating fromEnglish to your language to un-derstand and then from yourlanguage back to English whenyou need to speak.

Some people learn to do thattranslating very quickly, buteven if you learn to do it quicklyit’s still not instant and auto-matic. To truly speak like anAmerican, a Canadian, a Britishperson, to truly speak effort-lessly, you have to be thinkingin English. It’s the only way todo it.

How do you learn to do that?You use listen-and-answer sto-ries. I saved it for last, becausethis is the most powerful rule ofall, in my opinion. They’re allpowerful. You should use all ofthem, but this one I feel is themost powerful. So, let’s talkabout what it is. It’s the key to

faster English. It’s the key tomore natural speaking. It’s thekey to instant, automatic under-standing and speech. Before Itell you what this is exactly, letme talk about what happens innormal schools.

So, in a normal school usingthe old methods, the old meth-ods which are like200 years old orolder, these are re-ally old methods,what do you do? Youlearn with youreyes. You sit on yourbutt in a chair andyou watch a teacherup in the front ofthe class and theteacher writes a bunch of rulesand vocabulary and translationsand you take notes and thenyou all look in the textbook andyou do exercise number four,page 78 blah-blah-blah.

You also do a lot of listeningand repeating. The teachermight put on a CD or if theteacher can speak Englishthemselves and many timesthey cannot, but if they doknow English somewhat theymight say like an Englishphrase or sentence and thenyou repeat after them.

So, the teacher says “Hello,how are you?” And then says“Class, repeat after me. Hello,how are you?” And the whole

class together says “Hello, howare you? I’m fine and you?”“Class, repeat.” And then theclass says “I’m fine and you?”Listen and repeat. In a lot ofCDs out there it’s the samething, right? You hear an Eng-lish phrase and then you repeatit. You hear it. You repeat it.

Here’s one of theproblems with listenand repeat. You canjust turn your brainoff when you dothat. You can repeatit, but you might notunderstand it. Youmight not knowwhat you’re reallysaying. You might be

pronouncing it completelywrong, but you just repeat, re-peat, repeat. Your brain turnsoff. You don’t need to think inEnglish at all. You don’t evenneed to understand what you’resaying.

So, it’s not powerful. It’s not agood way to learn English. And,of course, as we all know, it’svery boring. So that’s what hap-pens in normal school, regularschool, regular textbooks, regu-lar programs.

Listen-and-answer stories aredifferent. It’s a special kind ofstory designed to help you un-derstand English instantly andthen use it very quickly. Thisstory is designed, the way we do

these stories, they’re createdand designed to teach you tothink in English, understandingand speaking. No more transla-tion. No more thinking aboutrules. No more thinking aboutanything. It’s just you under-stand instantly and when youwant to say something it justpops out of your mouth auto-matically.

So, how do we do this? Well,what happens is the teacherasks a very interesting, strangeand funny story and then thestudent immediately and con-stantly answers a series of ques-tions. Now, you notice I saidthe teacher asks the story, nottells the story. What does thatmean? Well, it means instead ofjust telling a story. There was adog. The dog was hungry andhe went to the store and hebought some cereal.

That’s just telling a story, fact,fact, fact, fact. That’s okay.There’s nothing wrong withthat, but this method is much

more powerful. So instead ofdoing that the teacher wouldsay “What was there?” Ofcourse you have no idea, butyou would just guess. “Ah a per-son. A boy. A dog. A man.” Andthen the teacher would say “Ah,there was a dog.” And then theteacher would say “What didthe dog want?” And again, youdon’t really know, so you wouldsay “Ah, ah, ah, to go to thepark, to go to school and toswim.” And then, eventually, the

teacher would give you the an-swer. “The dog wanted to eat.”

Then the teacher would ask alot, a lot, a lot of very simplebut fast easy questions aboutinformation you already knowin the story. The teacher wouldsay “What was there?” And youwould say “A dog.” You’d answervery quickly and instantly.“What did the dog want?” “Toeat.” “Did the dog want to sleepor did the dog want to eat?” “Toeat.” “Who wanted to eat?”

“The dog.” And this would goon and on and on, very fast, lotsand lots and lots and lots andlots of questions.

Sometimes the teacher wouldadd new information with thesequestions and you’d just guess.And then a lot of times theteacher is asking lots of differ-ent kinds of questions about in-formation you already know.That’s how the teacher asks thestory instead of telling the story.

Now, you as the learner, you

as the student, are constantlyhearing these questions and an-swering as fast as you can. It’slike a game. So, you hear it andyou try to instantly answer it.Now, the questions are very,very simple and easy and that isby design. As the teachers wewant the questions to be simpleand easy.

See, if we ask you a bunch ofdifficult questions you’re goingto pause. You’re going to stop.You’ll start thinking. You might

have time to translate. But byanswering you very fast, simple,easy questions, they’re so easythat you don’t need to think.You don’t need to translate. In-stead you understand them veryquickly and then you answervery fast.

This is how the trainingstarts, you see? So, you startlearning to understand faster,understand faster, understandinstantly without any kind oftranslating and by trying to an-swer faster, faster, faster, withjust one word or two words,you’re training your brain to re-spond in English faster andfaster and faster and faster, soyou’re understanding faster.You’re answering faster.

This is how real conversationshappen, right? There’s a lot ofback and forth. One personspeaks then the other one, thenthe other one, then the otherone. Someone asks a question,you need to understand it im-mediately and then you need torespond to it and answer it veryquickly and immediately. There’sno time for translating in realconversations. So, this is anamazing way to train you tospeak English quickly, easily andautomatically. It’s so powerful.

Now, here’s the other nicething about these stories. In mylessons, in my stories, my listen-and-answer stories, I always do

kind of crazy, strange and funnystories. Usually the charactersare little strange animals orcelebrities in these very strangeand interesting situations andthey’re entertaining, they’refunny. I do that for two reasons.Number one, I want you toenjoy learning English, so that’snice, but the other reason is theway your brain works is that itunderstands and remembersstrange information quicker andlonger than normal boring in-formation, right?

If you meet somebody if theyhave a strange name, you prob-ably will remember their namemore easily than if they justhave a normal average namethat a lot of people have, right?Our brains pay attention tostrange things, to funny things,to different things. That’s whatwe remember better and so ifyou’re listening to a strange andfunny story, if it has new vocab-ulary, you will remember thatvocabulary more easily.

If you’re just reading someTOEFL book, you know superboring, you’re not going to re-member that same vocabularyword as easily, but if you hearthat word in a strange, funny,interesting story with strangeevents and crazy characters, youwill more likely remember thatnew vocabulary word, becauseit’s funny, because it’s strange.

And, of course, I’m going tobe asking so many questionsusing that new vocabulary againand again and again, using thatgrammar again and again andagain and again and again, youget so much repetition fromthese questions that it goesdeep. It’s deep learning.

So, for all of these reasons,listen-and-answer stories are

the most powerful way to im-prove your English speaking,the most powerful. Because inmany ways, these stories use allthe other rules, right? You’re lis-tening with your ears to thesestories. They’re audio stories.You’re getting lots and lots ofrepetition and deep learning.You’re hearing phrases andwhole sentences and it’s real t

material. It’s a real story. It’s notsome fake boring textbook thingand you’re hearing lots of differ-ent kinds of grammar. I meanthis is so powerful, these kindsof story.

That’s why rule numberseven, the final rule, use listen-and-answer stories to speakEnglish quickly and easily andautomatically to actually tothink in English.

That’s it. You did it! You havegraduated from the 7 RulesVideo and Email Course. Con-gratulations. Now it’s time totake action.

If you want to get a differentresult, you have to do thingsdifferently. If you continueusing the same old methods, ifyou continue doing the sameold thing, you will continue get-ting the result that you’re get-ting right now. If you’re happywith that result, great, continuedoing what you were doing inthe past. It’s fine.

If you’re not happy with yourcurrent level of English speak-ing then, clearly, you need to dosomething differently, becauseusing those old methods willjust continue to get you thesame old result. I mean we allknow this. It’s just obvious. It’slogical. If you want a differentresult, you have to do some-thing differently.

So, you need to take action

now and you need to do some-thing differently. You need touse all seven of these rules. To-tally and completely change theway you learn English speakingand when you do that you will

get a totally different result, amuch more powerful result, abetter result.

There’s a few ways you cando this. You can create and de-sign your own learning plan, in-dependent learning plan. Youcan go out and find all yourown materials. You can do all ofthat. It’s possible. People do it.A very convenient way, a veryfast way to start immediately, tostart today, is to use my lessons.My lessons use all of theseseven rules, of course they do,and they’re a complete audiopackage.

By the end of using all my les-sons, you get my lessons todayand you listen to one lesson setfor one or two weeks, two weeksis best, remember deep learn-ing, then after about six monthsyour English will improve somuch. Your speaking will bemore powerful, more auto-matic, faster. You’ll understandmore instantly. Your pronuncia-tion will be better. Your spokengrammar will be better.

All of this will improve andyou’ll do it by listening to inter-esting articles, interestingteachings about personalgrowth and success, crazy andfunny stories and, of course,these listen-and-answer stories.That’s all you do every day. Forabout one hour every day youwill do that.

I usually say four to sixmonths is when you will feelthat sudden improvement. Youwill improve gradually, gradu-ally, gradually, but then afterabout four-five-six months, forsome people it’s seven or eight,it depends, each individual isdifferent, but around that time,around that four-to-six monthtime, your speaking and yourunderstanding and your listen-ing will all start improving veryquickly. You’ll feel a big change.

So, get started now. Take ac-tion. Do something different.Just go to the home page. You
