Inspiration

Help Rutgers students who want to developer software. Provide a platform for students and mentors to connect at hackathons and throughout the school year.

Problem

Learning a new skill can be hard and intimidating.

Studies show that the most effective way that students learn is from their peers. By pairing students with Rutgers alumni, we create a long lasting and meaningful mentorship relationship.

Solution

There is nothing like a face to meet up but the next best thing is a video conference. The RU Mentoring platform connects students and mentors via webRTC Video connections powered by the Twilio Video API.
