Part of the reason Hitler came to power so quickly was that Germany was looking for a leader and someone to blame after their downfall. Hitler brought the blame in the form of the Jews, and he used a common enemy to unite the Germans under one banner. Hitler quickly took hold of the country by establishing anti Jew policies and establishing the Nazi party and the S.S. Hitler used the Jews to start a war so that he would be appointed Chancellor and granted emergency powers that he would return at the end of the war. Then Hitler continued to use these powers to his advantage to start a campaign across Europe to exterminate the Jewish race. There seemed to always have been hatred between the Hutu and the Tutsi due to the fact that the Tutsiwere considered a foreign race to Rwanda. With theirheight they were obviously different from the Hutu and were a focus for hate and prejudice.
