INTRODUCTION
The modes of teaching in higher education have fully changed in last 15years. While some old guards still stay with the old “Chalk and Talk” technology, it isvery rare that in these days professors do not use some modern technology in classroom delivery. More information on any subject is available on such sources as“Youtube”, “Facebook”, “Wikipedia” and “Google”. The online education thereforehas added new options of teaching.
Education is play an important role in life of any human being. Withouteducation nobody can improve their self so education is change future of a person.There is innovate such kind of tools and technique for make education morecomprehensive and easy to improve education system. Internet is one of themwhich can change future of our education system. It is help in new inventionresearch and perfection. Internet is easy medium to circulate the learning sourcesto students teachers and researcher.
Internet is backbone of distance education system because it make easy tostudent and researcher to get reading material anytime anywhere.
Government policy
1. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) launched in 2001 for elementary
education. Innovative educational policies in India have been a huge success.
2. Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) launched in 2009 for secondary
education produced great results in the educational developments.
3. Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme
launched in 2013 aims at providing strategic funding to eligible state higher
educational institutions.
ROLE OF ICT IN HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM
At present a new era has evolved in the education sector by means of ICTS.Different ICTs are now set to become instrumental to help expand access toeducation, strengthen the relevance of education to the increasingly digitalworkplace, and raise educational quality by, among others, helping make teachingand learning into an engaging, active process connected to real life. The applicationand exposure to and deployment of ICTs fundamentally change the way education isconceived and delivered to students. Due to its easy accessibility this means ofeducation has become very popular all over the world. Distance education has got athrust after the evolution of ICT-based education system.

2) Easy to waste a lot of time on the internet. Some people are getting addicted to the internet and thus causing problems with their interactions of friends .
3) Pornography and social media that can get in the hands of young children too easily.
4) Internet has a lot of "cheater" sites. People can buy essays and pass them off as their own far more easily than they used to be able to do.
6) Hackers can create viruses that can get into your personal computer and ruin valuable data. Hackers can use the internet for identity theft.
