Magma, Encore and Vertigo do have some interesting characteristics: magma showcases a perimeter that punishes you for hugging the edge of the map, Encore feels like a literal arena of war, and Vertigo highlights geo that always drivers the action to the middle of the map.

As varied as the maps may be from a texture perspective, it’s studio that stands out of the four – but purely from a nostalgic perspective, and that’s a not a good thing.

With the exception of Mob of the Dead, this pack doesn’t add a lot of value to your multiplayer experience. If “zombies” is your thing however, and you see the extra maps as a nice bonus, definitely consider it.
