“Worthy are you to take the scroll    and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God    from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,

and they shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10

• The scroll itself has text on the inside and on the outside. • Only Jesus was worthy to open the scroll • The seven trumpets are part of the seventh seal (Rev 8:1-6) • At the end of the seventh trumpet (that is, at the very end of the

seventh seal), it is said, Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev 11:15).

• Thus, at the end of the seals, the world has become God's kingdom. When everything in the scroll has transpired, the universe fully belongs to God.”

First Half of the Tribulation

Revelation 6:1-2. Christ opens the first of the seven-sealed scroll, and the rider on the white horse (probably Antichrist) appears, using diplomacy and the promise of peace to establish his one-world government. Revelation 6:3-4. The second seal introduces a great world war. Revelation 6:5-6. The third seal begins the suffering of famine and inflation (the aftermath of war). Revelation 6:7-8. The fourth seal results, as do all wars, in death, but in this case it totals one-fourth of the people and living creatures. By today’s population standards, that would amount to one-and-a-half billion people.https://bible.org/illustration/events-tribulation-period

“When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness

they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our

blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number

of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.”

What is the rapture?

“The rapture is the doctrine that at the return of Christ, all believers will be caught up (i.e., “raptured”) to meet the Lord in the air. The bodies of dead believers will be resurrected, and all believers, living and dead, will be glorified.”

“15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord..” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

1 Corinthians 15:51–55 and John 14:2. Other passages, such as Matthew 24:31; 2 Thessalonians 1:10; and Revelation 14:14–16 are debated.

What is the rapture?

“That Jesus is coming again to vindicate his church and judge the enemies of God is the big essential. That is the blessed hope of the church. When and how are not as essential. “
