Blaze Publishing produce a variety of different magazines, to suit different audiences, who have different interests or may be different ages/maturity. There are three categories of magazines that Blaze produce; music, sport and lifestyle. This image shows a variety of sport magazines that they produce, which are relatively unexpected as sports and unique, approaching a new audience.

Blaze Publishing’s primary ideas are to produce niche magazines, for an audience that would not have a magazine in the norm. An acoustic or bass music magazine is not the first magazine someone would think of when they say music magazine. It brings in a new different audience. This is what I want to do with my music magazine, make it a niche magazine so it appeals to a different audience they may not have a good quality magazine.

When I create my music magazine, I would want to work along side a institution like Blaze Publishing, because they create niche magazines, for specialist audiences. My genre of Bands and Orchestra is quite unique, and don’t necessarily have a majority of magazines.

I wouldn’t want to work along side an institution like Team Rock though, because they do specific magazines for the rock genre.
