How will this research affect my ideas? This research has helped me understand my target audience a lot better and has helped me create an idea of what I want to include. The larger target audience tended to be male, so for this I would want to make the opening more masculine with action and edge instead of a calming atmosphere. In terms of class, I would like my film opening to appeal to all classes rather than just one, so I would have to find a way that it would attract everyone without a complicating storyline or have too much going on that would lose everybody’s interest. Action tends to be popular among the audiences so from this it will help me make my opening more exciting and it has to be able to hook the audience immediately.

My target audienceI see my target audience as almost everyone. In particular I would say it is mostly a male audience aged between 15-25 years old. I would describe them as:-People who love excitement-People who enjoy plot twists-Action addicts-People who like interesting storylines-Can easily relate to the characters-People who like the unknownI am targeting these kind of people as they will enjoy the kind of film opening I will create and all of these things I have labelled will be matched. I also feel like this kind of audience are easy to please so it would make it easier to include the typical elements of a thriller without too many people not enjoying it.
