DENGUE FEVER
Dengue fever also known as break bone fever, is an infectious tropical disease caused by the dengue virus.
Many people especially children and teens, may experience no signs or symptoms during a mild case of dengue fever. When symptoms do occur, they usually begin 4 to 10 days after the person is bitten by an infected mosquito. Signs and symptoms of dengue fever most commonly include:

*Fever, up to 106F (41C)*Headaches*Muscles, bones, and joint pain*Pain behind your eyes
You might be experience:*Widespread rash*Nausea and vomiting*Minor bleeding for your gums and nose
Most people recover within a week or so. In same cases, however symptoms worsen and can become life-threatening .Blood vessels often become damaged and leaky, and the number of clot-forming cells in your blood stream falls. This can cause:*Bleeding from nose and mouth *Severe abdominal pain *Persistent vomiting*Bleeding under the skin *Problems with lungs , liver and heart
In a small proportion of cases the disease
develops into the life –threatening DENGUE
HEMORRHAGIC FEVER, resulting in bleeding, low levels of blood platelets,
and blood plasma leakage, or into dengue shock syndrome, where dangerously low blood
pressure occurs.
