Dark Age

It was the used for middle ages of historical times.It started in Western Europe after fall of roman empire.The term once characterized the bulk of the Middle Ages, or roughly the 6th to 13th centuries, as a period of intellectual darkness between extinguishing the "light of Rome“

it originated with Petrarch in 1330’s.

The 1st printed book

The Gutenberg Bible  was the first major book printed using mass-produced movable type. It marked the start of the “Gutenberg revolution" and the age of the printed book in the West. Widely praised for its high aesthetic and artistic qualities the book has an iconic status.

The new concept of human beings

Humanism is a philosophical and ethical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively, and generally prefers critical thinking and evidence (rationalism, empiricism) over unthinking acceptance of dogma or superstition.

The aspirations of women

The position of women in the families of merchants was different in families of merchants and bankers. Women looked after the businesses when the male members were away. Women writings revealed their conviction that they should have economic power, property, education to achieve an identity in the world in a world dominated by men.

Martin Luther (Nov 10, 1483 - Feb 18, 1546) was a German theologian, an Augustinian monk, and an ecclesiastical reformer whose teachings inspired the Reformationand deeply influenced the doctrines and culture of the Lutheran and Protestant traditions. Luther's call to the Church to return to the teachings of the Bible led to the formation of new traditions within Christianity and to the Counter-Reformation, the Roman Catholic reaction to these movements.

Copernican revolutionThe Copernican Revolution was the paradigm shift from the Ptolemaic model of the heavens, which described the cosmos as having Earth stationary at the center of the universe, to the heliocentric model with the Sun at the center of the Solar System.

It started with publishing book known as De revolutionibus orbium coelestium.

CONCLUSION•It was the most important period in the Europe for the lives of people after the dark age.

•Renaissance made them capable of competing to darkness for the further development in their lives which made them stand and create a whole new organized society.

•Development was due to science , exploration , church , government , humanity , art , institutions and inventions.

•Renaissance was the awakening of new life of the societies and communities.Many conflicts occurred during this period but the development of industries and other criteria made the Europe into a nation of power and knowledge.

•It changed the views and ideas of imagination of world in people’s mind.
