Problem Statement• Interactive video

streaming services for peer to peer network using Network Coding Equivalent Content Distribution [NCECD].

Aim of the project

• Provide an interactive VOD services in P2P network.

• Reducing the delay experienced by users while downloading the video file.

• It also provide Scalability, Flexibility & Short latency.

Objectives of the project

• Video files are splitted into number of chunks using Fibonacci approach.

• Server load balancing problems is solved.

• Loading time and buffering time is reduced.

Existing system• An effective content distribution scheme.

• Random access.

Drawbacks• More buffering time will be taken when video is played.

• Most of the time is spent only on optimizing the distribution of large video files.

• Long waiting time for video files to load.

Proposed System

• NCECD ,videos are divided into no of segments and stored at peers local storage in a distributed manner.

• Client one can pick any server without additional search.

• This scheme also support dynamic network among the peers.

Multiple Description

Coding • MDC is one example of multi-rate video coding method.

• Data are encoded into several descriptions, which are independent of each other.

• When all the descriptions are received, the original data can be reconstructed without distortion.

Implementation of NCECD

Module description

• Video Partitioning.• Effective Bandwidth Optimization.

• Combinatorial Encoding of Network Flows.

System Architecture

Advantages• Video files are divided into number of segments and distributed in effective manner.

• Loading time and buffering time is reduced, server offline problem is also managed.

• Server Load balancing problem is solved.

Conclusion• The proposed NCECD achieved interactive VOD services in a P2P network.

• Asynchronous requests are served effectively.

• The problem of loading time & buffering time are solved.

Future work• This work can be enhanced by using multiple servers to store valid information, which client requires.

• It can also be enhanced for live streaming.
