•   Of  120  top-­‐grossing  global  films  from  2010-­‐2013,  women  represented  30.9%  of  all  speaking  or  named  characters.  1  In  the  top  100  films  for  2013,  10.8%  of  speaking  characters  were  Black,  5%  were  Asian,  4.2%  were  Hispanic.2  

•   In  2014,  ten  states  had  less  than  10  women  take  the  AP  Compu&ng  Science  exam.  13  states  had  no  Black  students  take  the  exam  (up  from  11  in  2013),  7  states  had  no  Hispanic  students  take  the  exam  (8  in  2013).3    

•   In  2014,  11%  of  IT  leaders  at  American-­‐based  tech  firms  were  women  (global  average:  7%).4
