October 16 – Midterm grades available October 28 – Last day to drop November 4-29 – Seniors with 90+ credits and Honors

students November 7-29 – Juniors with 60+ credits November 11-29 – Sophomores with 30+ credits November 14-29 – Freshmen with less than 30 credits December 8 – Last day to make schedule changes without

incurring add/drop fee December 9-12 – Scheduling not available December 13 – Scheduling with $10 add/drop fee begins January 6 – Classes begin; Late registration fee begins ($30) January 12 – Last day to add classes January 13 – Scheduling available for drops only ($30)

“Worksheet” includes your personal information (name, ID number, major, advisor’s name, credits earned, holds, and more)

“Worksheet” also includes degree requirements for major and Foundational Studies

“Plan” is the list of courses to be taken each semester in order to graduate in four years which is updated each semester by your advisor

From ISU homepage, click “MyISU” Under “Additional Links”, click “Click here to View

Resources which do not require login” beneath “Additional Information”

Click “Searchable Schedule of Classes” under “Resources which DO NOT require login”

Click drop-down arrow in “Search by Term” to select Spring 2014 (or Summer 2014) and “Submit Term”

To find specific class, click on “Subject” (for example, English), enter “Course Number” (for example, 105) and click “Class Search”

This brings up a list of all sections offered with days, times, and name of instructor

After selecting the term, highlight all “Subjects” by clicking on the first one, holding down the “Shift” key and clicking on the last one

Select desired Foundational Studies category in the “Attribute Type” box (for example, Fine & Performing Arts (FS))

Click “Class Search”

This brings up a list of all courses offered in that term which fulfill that FS category

From ISU homepage, click “MyISU”

Under “Additional Links”, click “Dynamic Class Schedule Worksheet” beneath “Additional Information”

Select “Subject” from drop down box (for example, English)

Enter “Number” (for example, 105)

Click “Submit” for the list of all sections of that class

Choose the section that you wish to select and click “Add”

Can be saved as PDF

Check for any holds through your MyISU account and MySAM that will prevent registration (immunization holds, financial holds, final high school transcript holds, etc.)

Contact appropriate office to resolve hold prior to the first day that you are eligible to register

If you do not know who to contact about the hold, ask your advisor

Do NOT wait to meet with your advisor even if there is a hold on your account

You must meet with your advisor face-to-face to discuss your classes and receive your advisement PIN

A scheduling form will be completed with the list of courses that you plan to take

Once the form is completed, you and your advisor sign and date it

Either your advisor or a staff member in University College will write your advisement PIN on the form

A copy of the form will be made; one for you and one for your file

Keep the scheduling form in a safe place until you are eligible to register

You will register through your MyISU portal Freshmen are eligible to register November 14th

(at midnight on November 13th) with the following exceptions:

Honors students are eligible to register November 4th

Student-athletes are eligible to register one class standing earlier (for freshmen-athletes, November 11th)

Click onto http://myisu.indstate.edu/

Enter your Sycamore Login and password

Click on the Student tab

Click on Add/Drop Classes in the MyISU Quick Links

Click on Select Term

Enter Advisement PIN

Enter Course Reference Number (CRN) or use Class Search to select class

Click Submit Changes
