2. 2. Digbeth Branch Canal The Bond Cafe My chosen location is the Digbeth Canals specifically outside The Bond Caf where there is a display of commissioned street art. I chose this location because it has the urban and street feel that will suit my magazines genre. The images I will take are a few establishing shots of the street art and group photos with the music artist posing in front of it.

4. 4. Technicalities Natural light- Because my location is outdoors I am limited to the amount of time I have to take the pictures, and I may need extra equipment to light the area. Availability- As this is a public area it is easily accessible, although I may encounter problems with members of the public passing by, I will over come this by keeping my equipment close by and explaining any issues. Power- There is no power source outdoors although I will be able to use electricity at the caf, also I can bring spare batteries to avoid my battery on the camera run low.

Alternative Location Considering the health and safety issues and production problems attached to my first location I am also considering an alternative location an indoor studio that is more easily available. There will be less risk of disruption as I can hire the second location and there will be no members of the public interfering. I will also have access to a green screen that will make editing easier and I can control the level of lighting and where it comes from.
6. 6. BOA TV Studio This location is easier to get to as it is onsite and I can use it freely also it is convenient for my models as they are also onsite. This location is also more easily available as all I need to do is book it for the time that I need it.

8. 8. Technicalities As it is indoors and a professional studio there will be sufficient power sources available and batteries to recharge any equipment such as the cameras and lights. I wont have a problem with planning ahead so I have enough light as there will be artificial lights available that I can adjust to my needs, specifically I will need high key lighting so the studio will need to be brightly lit.
