Vision: An environment that supports children, families and the community. This includes issues surrounding our safety, our cleanliness and our health.

Goal : RBCEC seeks to support the community in the

preservation and improvement of natural and manmade open spaces and parks; and the management of

environmental impacts to the community.

Atlantic City Nursery Urban Agriculture Project| Fall 2009Goal: Repurpose the greenhouses and growing space at Atlantic City Nursery in Southeast for urban agriculture and create a local distribution system so that the food produced provides fresh, nutritious food for residents of the Rainier Valley community
