2. Weather Conditions The climate of rainforest is tropical. Tropical rainforests are a type of tropical climatein which there is no dry season. All months havean average precipitation value of at least 60 mm. Tropical rainforest climates have no pronouncedsummer or winter; it is typically hot and wetthroughout the year and rainfall is both heavyand frequent. 3. HabitatA habitat is made up of physical factors such as soil, moisture, range of temperature,and availability of light as well as biotic factors such as the availability of food and thepresence of predators. 4. Types Of Plants Rainforest plants live in a warm humidenvironment that allows an enormousvariation rare in more temperate climates:some like the orchids have beautiful flowersadapted to attract the profusion of forestinsects. 5. Types Of Animals The rainforest is home to more than half of the world'sanimals. Colorful and unusual animals do well in all fourlayers of the forest. All types of creatures arerepresented, from tiny insects to large mammals. 6. Non-Living Things The nonliving things, like the soil and the rocks, aswell bodies of water.
