Planning

• More detailed storyboard in comparison to prelim task

• Previous research into other films gave inspiration

• More of an understanding of what we were doing

• Better knowledge of how to plan for filming

Equipment and Camera Skills

• We initially used a flip camera in prelim, we used more cameras and better quality cameras in the final task.

• Didn't develop skills so much as I was acting, however did help set up shots and gave my opinions on how to improve and give a better shot.

• Improved knowledge and understanding on what gives the best shots

• Used a variety of shots

• Framing was much better

• Better movement of camera, far smoother

Editing• I had a rough understanding of editing from the prelim task

• Longer time meant more care when editing

• Better effects with fading and cutting

• Overlaying images to create more effect

• Learnt how to edit sound into the final film

• Learnt how to add titles and credits to shots

• Made sure the credits were not too big as to cover up to much of the shot

• Improved titles by making them animated and put effects on them as to incorporate them into the film more.

• Ident’s also animated with sound to make them professional.

Sound• Recorded and found sounds separate and overlayed

them while removing sound from the initial shots

• Made the sounds more clear and removed background noise

• Recording a voice over and importing it developed my skills

• I had to research and find sounds to put into the film

• The sounds would be cut down and edited so they worked well with the shots in the film.
