• Instead of placing the clues around the class, place a QR Code that takes the students to the next task

• Give idiomatic expressions (used in sentences) to the students

• They scan the codes and match them with the correct meanings by scanning the codes posted around the class

• Students try to guess the meanings from the context

• Each idiom will have its simpler meanings linked to a QR Code

Bonus Tips

• When creating QR Codes, shorten the URL links using services like ‘bitly’ or ‘goo.le’

• When entering the URL in the QR Code generator, make sure the typing field is empty and there is no ‘http://’ already typed in.

• After generating your code, don’t forget to test it before using it in class!
