WHAT IS BENCHMARKING?

“LEARNING GOOD THINGS AND PRACTICES FROM OTHERS”

Benchmarking is an exercise which is performed to increase one’s operational

efficiency and to give better outputs.

It is a systematic process in which one identifies and implements those practices

that produce superior results.

It is also referred to as “best practice benchmarking” and “process benchmarking”.

How are others better?

What can we learn?

How can we catch up?

How can we become the

done', 'keep it up’, etc. should be brought in

culture. All these things will keep a loyalty

check on the people of the institutions.

DISCIPLINE“Discipline is a bridge between goals and

accomplishments”

Seminars and sessions should be organized ,

for the students, staff and faculty , to

inculcate self discipline.

Properly defined rules and regulations should

be made and strictly implemented to maintain

the decorum of the institution.

Special attention should be given to the

faculty’s discipline as they set an example for

the students and motivates them to do so.

MUTUAL BONDING“Mutual bond is a relationship in which people

share their sorrows, happiness, success and

failure”

Interaction should be done following the

principle of fairness, integrity, honesty and

respect.

Teachers must lead and must feel confident

and comfortable with the administration to

discuss class related issues.

Organizing feedback sessions for students to

understand their needs and problems.

HOME-LIKE ENVIRONMENT“Everyone has an opportunity to learn in a

positive environment, to enjoy the learning

process and feel comfortable and content within

it.”

Creating a positive learning environment.

Providing proper food and hygiene to the

students ,staff and faculty members.

Taking care of the safety and security of

students against ragging, peer pressure , etc.

Staff and faculty members should be given

access to their fundamental rights.
