Colloquium Objectives
Promote a research agenda in quality assurance in teacher education at European level
Build capacity through the presence of conference delegates from countries under-represented in EERA, notably Croatia, Slovenia and Poland
Build a field at the European level to support a sustained research agenda on European education
Publish an edited book on the proceedings of the colloquium which will inform the quality assurance debate on teacher education at European level
Objectives (cont.)
Assist EERA in establishing an authoritative voice in the teacher education quality assurance debate at European level
Represent the first substantive Network activity between annual conferences for members of both Networks 10 and 27.
Provide a networking forum for members of the Teacher Education Research and Didactics – Learning and Teaching Networks of EERA to meet with members of the Teacher Education Policy in Europe Network
