Ball and biscuit by the white stripes.

Content

I thought that the main actor could accidently take a substance that causes him to hallucinate as he goes through normal everyday life. At the beginning as the person is getting ready for school, another person (a sibling) slips something

into his coffee. So from there on the main actor is under the influence of an illegal class A substance. As he struggles through his everyday life he will have to overcome fears and tasks as he waits for the effects wear off. He will have to deal with things such and seeing human puppets, his teachers and class mates turning into food, and a world of wacky things.

Genre

The song ball and biscuit is a garage rock/ blues rock song by the white stripes. I have found two version of this song, one of them is normal speed as it was when it was released, and the other is a faster version almost like a live version without the crowd noise. I have chosen the fast version because it suits my idea better.

Audience

The audience for my music video will mainly be male with the exception of the occasional female fan. The reason for this is because the music is full guitar solos and really loud and fast.

Style or approach

I have a number of shots that I have pictured in my head, for example i picture the first scene as the victim waking up with the camera above his face as his eyes open, and then he jumps out of bed and in slow motion will slowly jog down the stairs for breakfast. I have also pictured the pill flying out of the other persons hand in slow motion and then a close up of the coffee as the pill crashes into it making the coffee ripple and splash. The editing will have most things in a blur so that it gives off the impression that the actor is hallucinating. I am going to do a concept style music video because the white stripes are wacky and fun.

Length

The length of the music video will last about six minutes long because that is how long my version of the song lasts compared to original version. I intend to fill the whole six minutes with a video.

Legal and ethical requirements

I am going to have to get the copyright to play the song in my music video so that I am actually able to use it without it being illegal. I am also going to make sure that all my actors are wearing non branded cloths so that the company will not contact the police because we didn’t have their content to wear their clothing. I will also have no branded products for the very same reason. I have asked all the actors that are going to be in this video if it is okay for them to be on YouTube and to be filmed. I am also going to ask the owners of a location so that I am able to film without getting into trouble.
