Contingency budget used completely Request additional funds, limit spending.

Delays Individual contractors fail to meet time frames

Set time limits that are earlier than absolutely necessary Delivery times on material

Order materials before they are needed. Availability of funds

Keep a "quick spend" account.

Lessons Learned1. Budgeting time2. Separating the “Substance from the Style”3. Communication and process of dividing work and working

together4. The overall level of detail that a project requires5. Verbal brainstorming did not work well for our group

We found that working on items individually and coming back together as a group was more beneficial

Suggestions:A. Set aside time to get to know your team members, this will

prove more productive in learning each member’s learning, working and communication style.

B. We found that it was easier to contribute information while in-person meetings – after having time to work on individual items.
