1. Peer-to-peer support and the role of social media This session will focus on the importance of peer support, how young people can organize and recognize each other’s strengths, empowerment and social networks. In the present time, social media has an important role to play in supporting this empowerment and lift the stigma. Presentations:

2. Youth work and mental health issues Youth work has an important role to play in involving and including young people with mental health issues. Youth work can contribute to a positive environment and can be a linking pin to other domains such as school and access to the labour market
Presentations:

o Mental health support in Limerick Youth Services (Maurice Walsh, Ireland)
o Supporting youth workers to promote mental health (Elina Marjamaki, FAMH, Finland)

3. The role of school and the transition to the labour market School and work are important sectors where young people with mental health issues often struggle with being included, often with long-term consequences. How can these barriers be overcome? Also the focus will be on the importance of how school dropout or long term exclusion from the labour market effects young people’s mental health negatively. Presentations:
