Paragraph 1

- Most movies make and leave impressions on audiences. No matter what people watch, they will always left with the impression with “It was the best movie I ever watched!”

- There are different genre kind of movies and films. Film nowadays can also be combined by more than one element or genre. Basically, the genre type of movie can be categorized into action, cartoon, comedy, disaster, drama, fantasy, horror, musical, war, romance, science-fiction and many more.

- I believe that people do not watch films depending on genre-related reasons but also to get inspired by the story and its characters.

- Mostly auditors probably use films or movies to announce their messages very clearly.- There are always messages in every film and it has potential to change our lives.- That’s why a film always can change a person in the slightest way, no matter what kind of movie

it was.- Those messages probably convey emotions, raise awareness about an issue, educate about a

subject or just to entertain the audiences. It may be related with politics, histories, sarcasm or a metaphor.

- A science fiction film is usually scientific, visionary, and imaginative. These films take place in the future and feature world that is not exist.

- As an example, people watch science fiction movies is because they want to see a world and creature they have never imagined.

Paragraph 2

- The two movies that I have chosen is The Hunger Games and The Giver. - These two movies are basically based on novels which is wrote by Michael Mitnick and Gary

Ross respectively. - The director of the both movies is Philip Noyce and Gary Ross.- Since both the movies genres are based on science-fiction, but The Hunger Games is actually an

adventure, science fiction movie. On the other hand, The Giver is also a drama, science fiction Movie.

- Adventure fiction is a genre of fiction which represents an adventure or an exciting undertaking involving risk and physical danger, forms the main storyline.

- Drama fiction movie is a genre of fiction which focus on story telling, and it is strongly based in a character, or characters, that are conflict at a curcial moment in their lives.

- The quality or condition of the films are dramatic- For an example, the drama fiction genre shows a lot on realistic characters dealing with

emotional themes, such as: alcoholism, morals, racism, religion and more.

- The storyline of The Hunger Games is about the main character, Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a televised competition in which two

teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death. Luckily, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have won the game and they have become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem. She started to reveal the truth behind the games and Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage. Katniss Everdeen is not just saving her folks but she must free a whole nation from tyrannical oppression and poverty.

- The reason why I chose this two movies is because there are metaphor of political message behind the stories.

- The hunger games is talk about social level, how upper classes people play with lower classes residents. They put them into a game and watch it through television.

- Democracy needs to eradicate tyranny and take over: this is a very easy and very simplistic interpretation of the plot, definitely lacking in reflection and failing to consider all aspects of the work.

- On the other hand, the director of The Giver use the other way to present its political messages. The president of the peaceful world decided to prevent her residents from torture, sadness and emotions. So lastly she has barred all culture that has related to suffer.
