2. Well , one activity I really enjoy doing is SCUBA DIVING 3. First of all, we should know What is Scuba Diving? Its a form of underwater diving where divers wear equipment whichallows them to stay below the waters surface for long periods oftime. Scuba stands for self contained underwater breathing apparatus. How do I start diving?First of all you need to get certified by any of the worldwide divingcompanies (PADI, NAUI, CEMAS, etc.) and take a first course calledOpen Water Diver. Can I improve?Of course, there are different educational levels. This is a typicalprogress line:Open Water Advanced Rescue DivemasterDiverDiver DiverPRO 4. First rule i learned when i started divingyou never dive aloneThese areand thismy matesis me !!!Its always a matter of partnership, you need to dive with a group or partner and rely on them as they depend on you. 5. other talents I learned that help develop my career pathBefore diving we need to PLAN our dives: First of all, we need to think before we act. Evaluate the conditions. Decide where to dive. Analyze specific emergency plans. Evaluate maximum depth, total dive time, type of dive, etc. To be organized is crucial, I always need to prevent inadvanced and make safety checkouts before goingunderwater.I learned to control my risks.I never stop learning new things and improving my skills. 6. As a Rescue diver Ialso developHow to prevent problems, and how to manage themif they occur. To evaluate risks. Think first and then act. I learned toimprove my judgment at the adversity. There is no single right solution to a problem, Ilearned to solve it based on the circumstances. To recognize and manage stress in other diversRescue and emergency skills 7. And now.as a Divemaster I am learning1. To have a model behavior so other inexperienced divers can learn and follow correctly, and motivate them through this new experience.2. Dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study.3. To teach and assist courses, how to speak in public and present dive briefings.4. To stretch my ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba diving.5. To supervise both training and non-training-related activities by planning, organizing and directing dives 8. Personal development Diving gives me the chance of meeting new peopleeveryday, because I dive in different locations.Strangers at first, that you need to trust, that becomecomrades or even friends. As I need to travel for diving, I also discover othercountries, cultures and even get to practice otherlanguages, because it is a global activity. We mustnt forget that diving is always a matter ofhaving fun. Its an sport that gives us the opportunityto discover the underwater world, which is alwaysdifferent, to have a real adventure every day. 9. Personal development Its such a different activity from my current life, that the silence, peace and tranquility of the sea gives me time to clear my thoughts and appreciate the present moment. Im more aware of the need for the preservation of the environment and appreciate more our oceans. I also develop strengths and skills, because you are always learning and improving.
