DESIGN INTENTION

The project is designed to a LEED™ Silver standard with an emphasis on operational efficiency. From the very

preliminary stages of design the architect address environmental concerns head-on, with an overarching goal to boost the Triple Bottom Line of people, planet, and profit.

Whenever possible the architect encourage the planting of native landscaping, restoration of natural water cycles, and the preservation of wildlife habitat and

Careful analysis of solar orientation and site attributes offer opportunities to

maximize daylight penetration and minimize our dependence on artificial lighting.

This multi-use community recreation facility includes a large gymnasium, fitness area, dance/aerobic studios and changing rooms; all fronting a sky lit “community street.”

• because of its intention > to make a sustainable community

• sustainable community center > low operating cost• a good community center is a place that serves its community without fees.

• there is no other public facilities other than school at prospect road.• the Prospect Road Community Center will be a focal point to pull all communities together, its going to be all things to all people.• in this situation, it is same as Kampung Baru area, that is no public facilities for community to go except masjid > but only for muslims, and kedai makan.
